The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated for infants and children (under the age of eight) on the second Sunday of the month at 1:30 p.m., with a preparation evening the Thursday prior to the Sunday Baptism Celebration for the parents and godparents.
Godparents must be a fully initiated Catholics (fully initiated meaning that they have received the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist and be at least 16 years of age) and attending the Eucharistic Liturgy (Mass) weekly.

The older children, ages nine through high school, the Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated as part of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) adapted for Children. These children/young adults will receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist all at the Easter Vigil. Two/three years of Sacrament preparation classes are required.

Adults who wish to be baptized participate in the RCIA. Candidates for baptism normally require at least one year of preparation before receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. RCIA candidates will attend scripture discussions and learn about catholic tradition and devotions on Sunday mornings.
