LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

Altar Servers: boys and girls of St. Kevin parish, who are in 4th grade and above, are invited to become Altar Servers. Every young Catholic should consider it an honor and a privilege to serve at the Altar of God during the celebration of Holy Mass. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: you not only assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at mass, but have opportunities to take the Eucharist to the homebound. A special training class is required. Please contact the Rectory at 718-357-8888.

Lectors: to proclaim God’s Word at Mass is a very important ministry. Please contact one of the parish priests at the Rectory if you would be interested in serving as a Lector.

Music Ministry: the Choirs welcome the participation of all singers and instrumentalists who wish to share their gifts. The Adult Choir, the Youth Handbell Choir and the Children’s Choir. Please contact Mr. Tom Sexton at 718-357-8888 ext. 115 if you are interested in joining the Music Ministry.

Ministers of Hospitality/Ushers: greet and assist parishioners as they come to Mass, organize the Offertory Procession, take-up the collection and offer assistance in emergency situations. If you are interested in becoming a Minister of Hospitality/Usher, please contact the Rectory at 718-357-8888.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: offers assistance to parishioners who are in need of food and/or clothing. Please contact the Rectory at 718-357-8888.
