Religious Education Classes for Public
School Students are as follows:
Grades 1-4 Sunday 10:00 a.m.
Mass followed by classes from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon from September to the end of April. Every Sunday the children and their parents are invited to come to the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

First Eucharist (First Holy Communion) and the Sacrament of Reconciliation
are received in second grade but only after a child has attended two years
of consecutive religious education as required by our Diocesan Guidelines.
Grades 5-8 Wednesday 7:00
p.m. ~ 8:30 p.m. September to May
The first year of preparation for the Sacrament
of Confirmation takes place in seventh grade. The immediate preparation
for this Sacrament is in eighth grade.

Mission Statement
The Catechetical Program of St. Kevin's
Parish strives to provide the youth and children with the experiences,
knowledge and the ability needed to become faithful and effective
disciples of Jesus. In keeping with their age they will take on
responsibility as significant members of the Parish and share in
the Church's mission to proclaim, celebrate and serve the kingdom
of God.
